About

A Yemeni company, starting in Sana'a.

Wayn isn't a translated foreign app. It was built for Yemeni conditions specifically: cash, weak networks, missing addresses, and missing helmets.

Why we started

Getting around Sana'a is exhausting: you haggle at every door, you don't know who's driving you, and nobody is accountable when something goes wrong. Meanwhile thousands of young men live off their motorbikes with no safety net at all — and no helmet on their heads.

We wanted something that solves both: a better ride for the passenger, and safer, better income for the captain.

How we think

We start small and get it right. One city, one service, before we think about expanding. We'd rather be the best in Sana'a than mediocre in five cities.

And we only claim what we can do. We won't promise what we can't guarantee, and we won't pretend Khodha prevents every accident. We measure, we improve, and we publish the result.

What we commit to

  • A price shown before you ride that doesn't change after
  • Any price change announced to captains twenty-four hours before it applies
  • Human support in Arabic that answers the phone
  • Trip routes deleted after seventy-two hours
  • The number of suspended accounts published monthly

The name

\u201cWayn\u201d is the question every Sana'ani asks ten times a day. The waw in our logo is drawn as a wheel, because the answer to that question begins with movement.

Want to join us?

We're always looking for captains, agents and partners who believe in this.
